Σήμερα στη "ΜΟΥΣΙΚΗ ΠΡΟΤΑΣΗ ΤΗΣ ΕΒΔΟΜΑΔΑΣ" η πρώτη εκτέλεση του τραγοιδιού "IN THE ARMY NOW" , από τους Bolland & Bolland .
Οι Bolland & Bolland είναι δύο Ολλανδοί μουσικοί παραγωγοί και αδέρφια, ο Rob Bolland (γεννήθηκε στις 17 Απριλίου 1955) και ο Ferdi Bolland (γεννήθηκε στις 5 Αυγούστου 1956). Γεννήθηκαν στο Port Elizabeth στη Νότια Αφρική.
Δημιούργησαν και έγραψαν για καλλιτέχνες όπως ο Falco (συμπεριλαμβανομένου του Νο 1 επιτυχίας του "Rock Me Amadeus"), της Samantha Fox ("Love House") και έγραψαν την επιτυχία του Status Quo "In the Army Now" - το οποίο κυκλοφόρησαν με το δικό τους όνομα το 1981 και το οποίο ηχογραφήθηκε επίσης από τον Gerard Joling. Ως μουσικοί από μόνοι τους, κυκλοφόρησαν το πρώτο τους άλμπουμ "Florida" το 1972.

Στη Νότια Αφρική, το σινγκλ κορυφώθηκε στο νούμερο 9 τον Μάιο του 1982, ενισχυμένο από την αυξημένη στρατολογία λόγω του πολέμου στα σύνορα της Νότιας Αφρικής. Ο Francis Rossi, τραγουδιστής του Status Quo, αναφέρεται ευρέως ότι άκουσε το τραγούδι ενώ βρισκόταν στο Autobahn στη Γερμανία. Τελικά έπεισε τον Quo να το ηχογραφήσει και το single έφτασε στο νούμερο 2 στο Ηνωμένο Βασίλειο το 1986.
