CHRIS De BURGH THE ECSTASY OF FLIGHT I LOVE THE NIGHT 1984

 Ο Βρετανο-Ιρλανδός τραγουδιστής, τραγουδοποιός και μουσικός  (Christopher John Davison) γεννήθηκε στη Σάντα Φε της Αργεντινής (15 Οκτωβρίου 1948). Υπέγραψε το πρώτο του συμβόλαιο με την A&M Records το 1974 και άρχισε τις πρώτες σημαντικές εμφανίσεις του, παρέα με τους Supertramp για την περιοδεία τους Crime of the Century tour. Γνώρισε επιτυχία την δεκαετία του ’80 με τραγούδια όπως τα "I Love the night" , “Don’t Pay the Ferryman”, “The Lady in Red”, “A Spaceman Came Travelling” κ.α. Το 2007 έγινε ο πρώτος δυτικός καλλιτέχνης που έδωσε παράσταση στο Ιράν μετά την επανάσταση στην χώρα το 1979.
